What are the steps to entering a Master's degree program

What are the steps to entering a Master's degree program?
I am interesting in a Master's degree program. Does anyone know the steps to enter one? I was thinking of either and MBA in Business Administration or MA in Economics.

Depends on the program and university. Look up those programs on the university's website, and look for its requirements.

In general: 1) Complete an undergraduate degree. 2) Research schools that interest you. Remember to check their accreditation status. 3) Read all of the entrance requirements for programs that interest you. 4) For most schools, there will be an exam required such as the GRE or GMAT. You will need to take the appropriate test. 5) Fill out all application paperwork for the program at the school. Different schools and programs will have different requirements.

Go to the webpage, and look into the department. Does it have professors you want to study under? Go to the admissions section, and download (and order in the mail) the forms you need. Get in contact with the department professor who is in charge of your graduate program. Email is fine, but write it on a seperate paper, then paste it into email. You don't want a nonprofessional error filled email to be the first thing they remember you by. Contact with this person is very important. Send in your applications, plus GRE scores (or whatever test they require for that program), and schedule an interview. (you will already have been in contact with the program administrator through email, so you can continue the conversation here) Interview. Get your acceptance, or rejection letter.
