To do an MA Economics, you need to have a background in economics, so you should probably, first try pursuing a graduate certificate or diploma in economics as this will provide you with a pathway to doing an MA Economics

my uncle has an MA in economics, it would be better to take up a Master's degree in public administration, this way, your two Graduate degrees shall compliment each other, you'll get better career. but of course, it depends on your plan. ^_^

Want to graduate from any top university. What are my options? Also comment on US and UK universities by stating a detailed comparison in terms of study, living etc..

London School of Economics is definitely the best for Economics education in the UK. In the US, you could look at Boston University. Overall, your score counts a lot as entry to these universities is not easy. If you're from India, you could also look at Singapore as the cost of living is lower and the quality of education is comparable to the west.
