Would I be ok with a BA from Economics and an MA in Government from Yale

Would I be ok with a BA from Economics and an MA in Government from Yale?
I know its Yale but are the degrees (major) valuable? What could I do with these degrees?

Yes, Yale is traditionally strong in these areas. However, your MA would be in "Political Science" because Yale does not have a "Government" department. (It's just a different term. Harvard has a "Government" department, but not a "Political Science" department.) With these degrees, you could do a fairly wide variety of things: 1. consulting or i-banking, of course 2. work for a political think tank 3. go into politics 4. teach high school, or get a Ph.D. and then teach college 5. go to law school 6. go to business school 7. be a reporter or newspaper writer 8. other things too...

An undergraduate degree from Yale is enough to make it in life...but an MA allows you to do pretty much whatever the heck you want. (Although Harvard's Kennedy School is better).
